Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – Evander Kane’s goal midway through the
third period proved to be the difference in the Winnipeg Jets’ 3-2 victory
over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.

Kane, who also had an assist, returned to the lineup after missing six games
with a lower-body injury for the Jets, who snapped a three-game skid. Mark
Scheifele and Bryan Little also lit the lamp.

Al Montoya stopped 22-of-24 shots in the victory.

RJ Umberger and Fedor Tyutin scored for the Blue Jackets, who had won six
straight against the Winnipeg franchise.

Mike McKenna turned aside 29-of-32 shots for Columbus, which has lost two in a
row.
