Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) – The Winnipeg Jets placed forward Matt
Halischuk on injured reserve Monday.

Halischuk suffered a fractured forearm in a 6-4 loss to the Dallas Stars on
Saturday. The Jets announced Sunday that Halischuk underwent successful
surgery to repair the damage.

The 25-year-old winger has totaled three goals and seven points over 30 games
in his first season with Winnipeg.
