Hertl is reportedly set to undergo knee surgery next week and will miss a
minimum of one month.
According to the Mercury News, Hertl will have surgery sometime next
week to repair damage caused by a knee-on-knee collision with Los Angeles
Kings captain Dustin Brown during Thursday’s matchup at Staples Center.
Hertl, the 17th overall pick in last year’s draft, has made quite an
impression during his rookie campaign, posting 15 goals and 10 assists over
his first 35 NHL games.
