goal midway through the third period and the Vancouver Canucks edged the
Winnipeg Jets, 2-1, for their sixth straight victory at home.
Eddie Lack earned the win with 15 saves in relief of starter Roberto Luongo,
who departed at 16:30 of the first period with an undisclosed injury.
Brad Richardson picked up the other goal for the Canucks, who improved to
9-1-1 in December.
Ondrej Pavelec made 23 saves for Winnipeg, which has dropped five of seven.
