Lakers down Sacramento, Memphis thrash Heat

Russell Westbrook powered Oklahoma to a fourth consecutive win, the Lakers continued their revival, Memphis thrashed defending champions Miami, while the Nets and the Clippers also recorded wins on Sunday night NBA action.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 53 points in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 106-91 rout of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Thunder now have a hold at the top of the North West Division with 4 straight wins.

Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard continue to lead the Lakers revival as they defeated Sacramento 103-89. Howard had 23 points and 18 rebounds, Bryant scored 20, moving the Lakers into second place in the Pacific Division behind City rivals the Clippers that won their third straight game beating Atlanta 89-76.

Wayne Ellington connected on seven 3-pointers en route to a game-high 25 points as the Memphis Grizzlies rolled past the Miami Heat, 104-86, while Brook Lopez scored a game-high 20 points as the Brooklyn Nets completed the sweep of a home-and-home series against the Orlando Magic with an 82-74 victory at Barclays Center.
