Tony Parker gave San Antonio their second consecutive win, with a 21 footer right on the buzzer, in a thrilling rematch of the Western Conference finals. Kevin Durant was left stunned under the basket as the Thunder were downed 86-84.

Tim Duncan was again the top performer for San Antonio, contributing with 20 points and 8 rebounds, while Durant was the top Thunder performer with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Durant’s contribution saw him become the second youngest player after LeBron James to reach 10000 career points in only his 6th season.

All eyes will be on the Staples Center tonight, as the Clippers take on the Lakers in the big Pacific Division match up. The Lakers have yet to win this season following losses to Dallas and Portland, and will have to do without the services of new signing Steve Nash due to a bruised leg. This is a must win game for the Lakers and their handful of new superstar signings, especially if they want some early season bragging rights over their city rivals. Only one win separated the two teams in last years regular season, with the Lakers nipping the Pacific division title with 41 wins to the Clippers 40.

Clippers new recruit, Jamal Crawford, has settled into his new team in pretty confident fashion following his match winning 29 points against Memphis in their season opener, Gasol, Bryant, Howard and co will have to keep an eye on the star if they are to register their first win.

New York take to the court for the first time, following the postponement of their season opener against Brooklyn due to the storm that hit the East coast. Defending champions Miami are the visitors and are eying  2 wins from 2. Dwayne Wade was the team leader for the Heat in their first clash with the Celtics, with 29 points, while James weighed in with his own contribution of 26 points. The Knicks begin their season without 2 of their big stars from last season, Jeremy Lin who has moved onto the Rockets, and Landry Fields who joined Toronto. Its going to be a big task for the home team if they are to begin with a win.
