Nationwide Tour Players Cup - Round Two

Steven Bowditch held his nerve to clinch his first PGA Tour title at the Texas Open.

Bowditch closed with a 4 over par 76 to finish on 8 under par for the tournament, 1 shot clear of Will McKenzie and Daniel Summerhays.

Matt kuchar and Andrew Loupe negotiated the difficult conditions at TPC San Antonio to finish a shot further back after boht shot closing 3 over, 75’s while Zach Johnson, Jim Furyk, Jerry Kellyand Brendon Todd finished on 5 under.

It was Bowditch’s first win in 110 starts on the PGA Tour while his last round 76 was the highest score by a winner since Vijay Singh closed with a 76 to win the 2004 PGA Championship.
