Leinster and Edinburgh through to the last 4

Holders Leinster extended their unbeaten Heineken Cup record to 13 games as they booked a semi-final appointment with Saracens or Clermont Auvergne after a 34-3 win over Cardiff Blues.

Leinster showed no mercy, ripping their opponents apart as Isa Nacewa, Rob Kearney and Brian O’Driscoll scored first-half tries to end the contest after 40 minutes.

In the days other game, Edinburgh produced a stunning 19-14 victory over French giants Toulouse to become the first Scottish side to reach the last four of the Heineken Cup.

Today sees the all Irish affair of Muster v Ulster and Saracens v Clermont.
