The Springboks produced their best performance under the Heineke Meyer era at Loftus on Saturday against Australia with a comfortable 31-8 win.

It was again a much improved performance with the young powerful, pack again laying the foundation for the backs, which attacked my more directly under the guidance of new young pivot Goosen. Less ball was kicked away, which was done in the past under Steyn and this proved more effective as the Boks ran in 5 tries, a hat-rick from Habana who has had a brilliant season this year.

Other performances of note came from all over the team, especially the pack. Bekker has his best game in a long time while Etzebeth has a fantastic future ahead of him. Francios Louw was the best of the lot with another powerful and skillful display.

In Argentina, the All Blacks dished out a rugby lesson to the Pumas with a comprehensive 54-15 rout of the hosts, Cory Jane scoring 3 tries. The win has extended New Zealanders winning streak to 15, with yesterdays win it also gave them the first Rugby Championship, to add to their 10 Tri-Nations titles they won previous.
