Liam Craig salvaged a point for St.
Johnstone on Monday with a stoppage-time equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Dundee
United at McDiarmid Park.

Dundee United was on the front foot early on and Ryan Gauld gave the home side
a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute and looked to be on their way to a victory.

But things turned in the favor of the home side with 12 minutes to play when
Dundee United’s Stuart Armstrong was shown a red card, reducing the traveling
club to 10 men.

St. Johnstone was able to take advantage of having the extra man as Craig
buried one into the back of the net in the third minute of second-half
stoppage time to come away with one point on the day.

St. Johnstone remains in fifth place in the SPL with 45 points from 32
matches, while Dundee United stays in eighth place with 41 points from 32
matches,
