Carson, CA (Sports Network) – Edson Buddle turned up at the StubHub Center on
Saturday to bite the hand that once fed him as his lone goal helped the
Colorado Rapids earn a 1-0 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The former Galaxy striker scored with just 15 minutes to play as he collected
a pass from Vicente Sanchez at the top of the box and fired a rocket into the
upper corner from distance.

Colorado has won two straight matches against Los Angeles as the Rapids built
upon their 2-0 defeat of the Galaxy at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on July 27.

The win sees Colorado (11-8-9) improve to 42 points on the season, one point
shy of Los Angeles (13-10-4).
