2BET2 brings you all your weekend sport

Updated: September 1, 2012

Rugby fans the wait is over as the Aviva Premiership kicks off around the UK and on 2BET2.

Defending Champions Harlequins had a superb year last year finishing the regular season only a point in front of the Tigers that had a resurgent second half of the season.

Captain Chris Robshaw led from the front and in New Zealander Evans, and England scrum half Danny Care, they have a potent halfback combination that will need to dominate if they are to repeat their title feat of last season. They take on London Wasps in their opening game, a team that certainly didn’t deliver last season. Wasps will be looking for some early momentum to build confidence as they try to forget the nightmare of last season.

Former champions Saracens surrendered their crown to Quins last season and will not be looking to repeat that feat again. A team with a big South African influence in former World Cup winning captain John Smit and the brilliant Schalk Brits, they have plenty of power in the forwards that will create some good attacking ball for the young Owen Farrell who will be the play maker for the outside backs, that now includes England winger Chris Ashton, a major acquisition for the St Albans based team. London Irish are the first team on the Saracens radar, a young team that started the season very well last year, however a mid season slump due to form and injury saw them finish seventh.

Also on the agenda this weekend, a full fixture list across the European football leagues.

In the Premiership the big standout fixture is the Gunners making the journey to Anfield on Sunday. Life for Wenger has been tough since the departure of hit man RVP to United, and his new signings naturally have taken time to settle in. He will need them to find the back of the net in front of the Kop if they are going to get something from the game.

Liverpool under new manager Brendan Rogers are learning a new style of football and put in a much improved performance last week against City, however only 3 points will keep the Kop faithful happy.

In Spain on Sunday, all eyes will be on The Bernabeu, as Real Madrid try to turn their league form around against Granada. The midweek Super Cup win against rivals Barca will surely give them confidence, and with the new signings of Essien from Chelsea, and Modric from Spurs they have 2 more attacking and defensive midfielders.

Barca are at home to Valencia, the biggest clash of the weekend. Messi already has 7 goals this season, expect him to add to that tally.

Week 2 of Serie A sees Juventus looking to extend their unbeaten run away to Udinese. Much will depend on the brilliant Pirlo. If the home team can stop him they have a chance. Inter are at home to Roma while AC look for the win away against Bologna.

2 BET2 also brings you the Bundesliga, the French League and much more. Go to the app and check it out for yourself.
