Bayern Munich continued their goals scoring run in Marseille with a 6th consecutive win, in their first leg quarter final Champions League clash. Goals from Gomez and Robben settled the leg, 2-0, and will leave Marseille a mountain to climb in the second leg. Progress to the next round for the German could set up a mouth watering encounter with Real Madrid. Marseille have now lost 8 out of their last 9 matches, free fall form.

AC and Barca played out an action packed 0-0 draw at the San Siro. Messi and Ibrahimovic fired blanks as both teams missed a host of chances. Messi in particular had scored 21 goals in his last 9 games, Milan did well to stop him from adding to that. All to play for in the second leg for the Italians.
