Bayern stunned, Chelsea, United and Barca secure the points.

BATE stunned last years Champions League finalists and former winners Bayern Munich 3-1 last night in a famous win for the Belorussian club. Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona, Braga and Celtic all registered wins away from home, Valencia cruised to a home win against troubled Lille, while Shakhtar and Juventus played out a draw.

Bayern were unbeaten all season coming into this tie, and were expecting to continue in this form. Despite dominating the first half Bayern found themselves 2-0 down very much against the run of play, however with to much work to do to claw their way back. BATE now remarkably sit top of group F following their 2 wins, amazingly their first 2 wins ever in the competition.

There were wins for Valencia, who beat Lille 2-0 to condemn the French side to a second successive defeat, while Celtic ended a run of 20 Champions League away matches without a win after a last-minute 3-2 triumph at Spartak Moscow.

Juventus are fast realising that life back in the Champions League is worlds apart from Serie A as they recorded an 8th successive European draw with Donetsk, 1-1.

Braga travel well in Europe, and proved that again last night with a 2-0 win against Galatasaray. Braga now unbeaten in 7 away games.

Barcelona came away from Benfica with their first win in 3 attempts, Fabregas and Sanchez giving them the 2-0 result and 2 wins from 2 so far.

Chelsea and Manchester United also won on the road against FC Nordsjaelland 4-0, and 2-1 over CFR Cluj in Romania respectively, Van Persie continuing his rich vein with a further 2 goals.

Champions League action continues today with teams in Group A-D in action including Real Madrid playing at Ajax Amsterdam and English champions Manchester City meeting German champions Borussia Dortmund in Manchester.
