UEFA Champions League action returns to 2BET2 today with some of the big names facing some tricky away ties in the group stages.

Barcelona make the trip to Benifica, with one eye on Sundays crucial “El Classica” at the Nou Camp. They do have the luxury of an 8 point lead over their bitter rivals Real in La Liga, however will know that in Europe its important not to slip up. The 65000 seater Estadio da Luz, has not been a happy hunting ground in the past for the Catalan giants, having been there twice, and on both occasions come away with goalless draws, the last time being in 2006. Its a different prospect this time round for the Portuguese if you consider the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and the fit again Puyol, somehow its difficult to believe if a draw occurs, that there wont be goals involved.

Juventus, back in the top flight of Europe for the first time in 2 years are at home to Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk. “La Vecchia Signora” are currently on an unbelievable run in Serie A, unbeaten in 45 games and sit top of the league. Pirlo and co. will want more of the same in Europe, and certainly wont want to have to claw back any deficits tonight as they had to against Chelsea 2 weeks ago. The Ukrainian champions are on a decent run themselves with 25 consecutive wins in all competitions, clearly helped by the Brazilian influence they have in their ranks, 9 to be exact.

Bayern Munich certainly have put their Champions League heartbreak from last season behind them in emphatic style, with 9 straight wins to begin their season. No Robben as they make the trip to BATE. The Belorussian champions shocked Lille 2 weeks ago with a 3-1 win, surprisingly their first Champions League win in 13. Considering the recent form of Lille, and the quality of Bayern expect normal service to resume.

Defending champions Chelsea haven’t traveled around Europe well in recent times, however expect them to put this right against UCL newcomers, FC Nordsjaelland. Fresh off another win against Arsenal, and sitting top of the Premiership, Di Matteo will demand the points from his team. Torres seems to be finding some form, while young Belgium play maker Hazard will be a threat . Oscar had a spectacular debut for Chelsea last time out against Juve, and looks set to start alongside Torres tonight.

Manchester United make the journey into the unknown, as they travel to Transylvania to take on CFR Cluj-Napoca. Sir Alex Ferguson will be looking for a vastly improved performance especially after their loss to Spurs at the weekend, incidentally the first time they have lost at Old Trafford to Tottenham in 23 years. Rooney is back, and now is the time to get a run of games together with Robin Van Persie, on paper a deadly duo, however on the pitch, only time will tell.

Other games today, Galatasary back in the top flight for the first time in 7 years welcome Braga, Valencia host struggling Lille, while Celtic make the journey to Spartak Moscow.
