QPR remain rooted to bottom of Premiership

Updated: October 2, 2012

Mark Hughes must be wondering if his chairman Tony Fernandes has a plan in place for them to buy some Premiership points, as they suffered a 4th loss of the season at home to West Ham by 2 goals to 1.

Hughes must now be top of the bookies list to be the first managers head to roll after another disastrous start. The Welshman has had plenty of money to spend, however his signings have simply failed to deliver.

Sam Allardyce’s side moved up to seventh after first half goals from Matt Jarvis and Ricardo Vaz Te put the Hammers firmly in control, while QPR remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.

In Spain, Real Mallorca suffered their first defeat in La Liga this season when they lost 1-0 at Getafe. Mallorca dropped down to fifth with 11 points from six games.
