Monaco catches his Fish, Sharapova through to final

21st seed Juan Monaco advanced to the semi finals in Miami with a comfortable 6-1,6-3, win over Mardy Fish. Monaco celebrated his 28th birthday in fine style and will now meet world no.1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic, who disposed of Spaniard David Ferrer 6-2,7-6.
