No permutations needed for Group A at the World Tour Finals as Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray made light work of their opponents in the last of the round robin matches brushing aside Tomas Berdych and Tsonga to advance to the semifinals of the season ending showpiece.

Both players overcame respective opponents 6-2,6-3 to advance, with Djokovic finishing the group stage with an unblemished record to top the standings although the make-up of the semifinals will not be known until Group B concludes on Saturday.

Swiss world No 2 Roger Federer is already assured of reaching the last four and will top the group and set up a clash with Murray if he beats Argentina’s Juan Martin del Potro. Ferrer can also advance if he can overcome Tipsarevic in convicing style.
