Murray stunned in China, Sharapova and Azarenka face off again in Beijing

Maria Sharapova defeated Li Na, the home favourite 6-4, 6-0, advancing to the final of Beijing for the first time in 5 attempts. In a repeat of the Aussie Open and US Open finals, world no.1 Azarenka will take on the Russian after she beat Bartoli, 6-4,6-2. Neither player has yet to drop a set so far.

In the mens draw, Tsonga moved into the final after Lopez was forced to retire due to a wrist injury. He will take on former champion Novak Djokovic who defeated Meyer in straight sets.

In Japan defending champion Andy Murray was stunned by 21 year old Milos Raonic, 6-3 6-7 7-6. In a tantrum filled match, Murray blew a 4-1 lead in the 3rd set to relinquish his title. Nishikori will take on Raonic in the final in front of his home fans following a straight sets win against former Aussie Open finalist Baghdatis.
