Arcadia, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Chriselliam came over from Europe to win
Friday’s $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Santa Anita Park.

Ridden by Richard Hughes, Chriselliam was never far off the pace in the 14-
horse field. The 2-year-old moved closer to the leaders on the final turn and
surged down the stretch on her way to registering a 3 1/2-length victory.

Testa Rossi was second followed by Colonel Joan, My Conquestadory and Dancing
House in fifth.

Chriselliam set a new stakes record for a mile of 1:33.72 over a firm turf
course.

Trained by Charlie Hills, Chriselliam picked up her third win in six starts
and $570,000. The filly has earned $749,684. She is partly owned by former
jockey great Willie Carson.

Chriselliam returned $15.80, $7.80 and $6.20. Testa Rossi paid $11.20 and
$9.00, and Colonel Joan paid $16.60 to show.
