Blue Devils take down Lady Monarchs

Durham, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – Tricia Liston poured in 17 points to lead No.
3 Duke to a 87-63 win over Old Dominion at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Oderah Chidom scored 13 points and Alexis Jones and Elizabeth Williams had 12
points apiece with the latter adding 12 rebounds for the Blue Devils (13-1),
who have won three straight.

Tiffany Minor netted a game-high 20 and Laquanda Younger added 15 points for
Old Dominion (6-7), which has lost three of its last four.

Old Dominion led 12-11 with 15:18 to play in the first half before Duke went
on a 15-4 tear to go take the lead, which it would not relinquish. The Blue
Devils led 45-32 at the half thanks to 62.1 percent shooting from the field.

The Lady Monarchs were within 13 to start the final 20 minutes and they could
not get any closer the rest of the contest. The Blue Devils shot 36-for-69
from the field, while Old Dominion went 24-for-56. Duke also outrebounded the
Lady Monarchs, 47-24, as it cruised to the finish.
