Jelena Jankovic ended her championship
drought with a resounding win over Argentina’s Paula Ormaechea in Sunday’s
final at the Copa Claro Colsanitas tennis event.

The top-seeded Serbian needed just 74 minutes to dispose of the first-time WTA
finalist in a 6-1, 6-2 rout.

Jankovic captured her 13th career title and first since her triumph at Indian
Wells in 2010.

Ormaechea’s best previous WTA result was reaching the quarterfinals here last
year.
